We at AECI Water have experience and expertise in the treatment and management of potable and sewage water as well as a high level capability in implementing alternative water sources treatment technologies. Included here are ground water treatment, reclamation and re-use, desalination. This is aligned with water security plans and drought mitigation strategies in many municipalities and utilities. We work closely with customers to engineer customised water treatment plants that meet site-specific treatment, re-use or recycling requirements. In addition to our standard range of potable and sewage plants, we design plants to specification. They cater for the treatment of site-specific raw water composition and treated water quality requirements.

GROUND WATER TREATMENT

DESALINATION, WATER RECLAMATION AND RE-USE

Ground water is an extensive and valuable water resource that can be managed by understanding aquifers, including their rate of renewal. The treatment technology enables the consistent supply of water conforming to the relevant SANS241 water quality standards.

A desalination plant is sustainable and cost effective, if designed correctly. These engineered solutions can be built in any area with a sea water supply. Further, all secondary waste from water works can be processed similarly. The first step of the desalination process includes liquid-solid separation by means of mechanical screening followed by DAF.
